What is pharmacy error?
A pharmacy error is any error in medication made by the pharmacy. This can be something minor like counting out too many pills to something serious like giving the patient the wrong dosage information or, even worse, a completely wrong medication. Dosage can be a serious problem because the pharmacy could cause the patient to overdose on his or her medication. Issuing the wrong medication can be just as much of a problem since the medicine can interact with another medicine or be wrong for the illness or ailment.
