Should I Get a Second Opinion?

Getting a second opinion means asking another doctor for his or her professional opinion about a malady
or condition, in order to confirm or disprove the opinion of the first doctor. They’re used to reduce
some of the inherent dangers of human error in medicine. In cases of serious medical surgeries or illnesses,
you should always get a second opinion. After all, you don’t want to agree to having a leg amputated
or going through a major treatment cycle for something that you don’t have.
