Dentist being investigated for malpractice after pulling out ex’s teeth

A Polish dentist is currently being investigated for dental malpractice after she pulled out every tooth inside a man’s mouth.
The man happened to be her ex-boyfriend, who just days prior to entering the dentist’s office had dumped her for another woman. The man was complaining of tooth pain, and the female dentist saw it as her chance to get her revenge on the man.
She put him under a large dosage of anesthesia, and then methodically removed all of his teeth. When the anesthesia wore off, she informed him that there had been complications, and that he needed to see a specialist.
The man’s head and jaw were wrapped in gauze, and when he returned home and took off the bandaging, he saw the actual damage. He has told the media that he was in a state of shock after seeing what she had done. He also claims that his current girlfriend has left him, because she is unable to handle the fact that he now has a toothless grin.
Dentist being investigated after 2nd patient dies

A dentist in New Jersey is being investigated after a second patient of his died during a routine dental procedure. The 64-year-old has been on probation with the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry due to the death of the first patient.
This month, a mother took her 3-year-old son to the dentist to fill a cavity. During the procedure, which called for local anesthetic, the mother saw that her son was in distress and urged the dentist to stop. The dentist assured her that her son was fine, but 15 minutes later her son stopped breathing. The patient was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
In a similar procedure the dentist performed in 2004, a 6-year-old patient stopped breathing and passed away. In this case, a coroner ruled that the cause of death was related to various medical conditions the patient suffered from. However, the New Jersey Board of Dentistry investigated the death and believed the doctor was negligent and committed dental malpractice.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim’s family and friends.
Parents sue oral surgeon for daughter’s death

Parents of a 17 year-old girl have filed a medical malpractice lawsuit against the oral surgeon and anesthesiologist for the death of their daughter.
The teen was one of five million Americans who have their wisdom teeth removed each year. Her parents claim the surgeon and anesthesiologist were negligent when they failed to resuscitate her after seeing her blood oxygen levels and heart rate drop dramatically. A medical examiner ruled her cause of death hypoxia, or oxygen deprivation, while under the effects of anesthesia.
The family hopes to highlight the risks of what is portrayed as a simple surgery. Recently dentists have come forward claiming the surgery is unnecessary and not worth the risks.

An inmate and convicted killer at the San Mateo County jail recently sued for dental malpractice after a dentist at the prison performed unnecessary dental work on him resulting in a broken jaw that had to be wired shut.
36-year old Quincy Dean Norton, Jr. filed suit against the county and claims he suffered from extreme pain as a result of dental malpractice and negligent misrepresentation. While in jail, Norton alleges that Dr. Gregory L. Mar insisted he have one of his wisdom teeth removed because of an abscess. During the removal, Norton’s jaw was broken and he had to be taken to the county hospital where doctors determined that the tooth never should have been pulled.
